Ineta Krodere, Mag.iur. is the preeminent IPR litigator and trademark attorney in Latvia with over 20 years of experience. Ineta advises global industry leaders like Merck Sharp & Dome, Red Bull, Phillip Morris International and globally recognized institutions like Latvian National Opera.

In her first court case, Ineta defended Dzintars, a local heritage cosmetics brand, against Beiersdorf’s „Nivea“ brand protection claims. Her landmark cases also include winning the first Latvian court case against a copyright collective in favour of Radio SWH. Today Ineta regularly advises media and entertainment, pharmaceutical, tobacco, food and beverages companies on trademark defence strategies and copyright rules.

Ineta’s peers have elected her as the Member of the Board and Treasurer of the Latvia Regional group at the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property). Her responsibilities include organising annual IPR conferences on the latest case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
